This was my first poster project after learning illustrator. 

The opera is set in China and revolves around Prince Calaf, who becomes enamored with the icy Princess Turandot. To win her hand in marriage, a suitor must correctly answer three riddles, failure resulting in execution. Calaf successfully answers the riddles, but Turandot still rejects him. He proposes a challenge: if she can guess his name by dawn the next day, he will willingly face death.
